As a paralegal i do Wills, which is a written declaration of a person's intent to distribute property after his or her death. Needless to say it is important as letting a family and friends know how you want assets to be distributed upon your death. For example, your information the will, also called a last will and testament , is the method by which title to property may be transferred. If needed a will, i as a paralegal woud write up a legally binding doument while the person is alive, Which is called an ambulatory documents, meaning they are legally binding only upon the person's death. .
To keep this professional this defintion is important to remeber since, while a will is a legally binding document it only becomes effetive upon death. That person may also sell or give away any property to a beneficiary in the will and not become conerned that the beneficiary will not recieve the property upon his or her death. .
